A round up of wedding inspiration and wedding trends from 2017 weddings at Chez. Like many Chicago wedding venues, we’re continuing to see the blush and gold trend holding strong, but we’ve also seen a move towards towering wild and loose floral centerpieces, and dramatic, moody wedding themes this year.
Moody Wedding Decor Themes.
Deep burgundy and purples tones, layers of texture, and warm rose gold or copper metallics bring this moody wedding decor theme to life. We expect to see a lot more of this wedding trend in 2018.Towering Loose & Wild Wedding Florals.
Creating drama for ceremony or reception, towering wedding florals were a big hit at Chicago wedding venues in 2017. Think apple or cherry blossom branches for a warm contemporary look in Spring, or loose arrangements on decorative gold or wooden pedestals to add height and drama to your wedding day decor.Blush.
While we expect to see lots of new twists in wedding decor trends in 2018, the blush wedding isn’t going anywhere fast. Blush brings a classic, elegant, feminine feel to wedding decor and can be easily paired with metallics and other colors for contemporary and romantic wedding themes alike.
