Amy & Colin’s Colorful Chez Wedding

It is always an honor when an industry friend selects Chez for their own wedding, so we were delighted to host Chicago wedding photographer, Colin Lyons, and wife Amy for their wedding reception last summer. Following a church ceremony, the newlyweds arrived at Chez to celebrate with family and friends. Colorful decor and a whimsical groom’s cake set the tone for the fun-filled reception. An elaborate paper flower wall provided a beautiful photo booth backdrop. Guests enjoyed dinner by Jewell Events Catering and danced to music by DJ Jennefa before a dramatic sparkler send off – the grand finale the the perfect day. Congratulations Amy and Colin!

All eyes were on Kristin as she made her grand entrance on the glass staircase wearing an intricate sequin gown from Allure Bridal. After an emotional ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner, served by Food For Thought, before dancing the night away to music provided by Black Third Entertainment. Sarah & Christian’s Romantic October Wedding

On October 15th, 2016 Sarah and Christian were joined by their loved ones for their ceremony and reception at Chez. Their day began at the W Hotel Lakeshore for their first look, and then headed to Lake Michigan with their wedding party and photographer, Louie A Weddings.

Every detail of the day was planned by Linsday Gaeta of Storybook Weddings. While the wedding party took photos, Phil Cooper and the team of Kehoe Designs were putting the final touches on floral arrangements and each romantic detail for the ceremony. The mood for the ceremony was set by Bill Pollack String Quartet. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Jewell Events Catering.

Once the ceremony space was flipped for the reception, guests were invited back in to take their seats. Tables were covered with sequined linen and lined with Chez’s mirage ghost chairs creating a charming atmosphere. Kehoe Designs made sure every table was impeccable with elegant floral arrangements set in various gold and glass vessels. The tables were completed with custom escort cards by Minted.

After cutting the cake, the couple and their guests danced and enjoyed music from Style Matters. Congratulations Sarah & Christian!

5 Luxurious Wedding Lounges

Chez’s all-white interior and soaring ceilings make decor and event design possibilities truly endless. Each Chez client has the opportunity to transform the space into their wedding vision, focusing on what is important to them and what they want to impart on their wedding guests.

It has been forecasted as a trend for 2017 weddings to ditch standard furniture pieces and opt for more creative choices that keeps the flow of the wedding day going throughout the entire event. Wedding lounge areas that incorporate plush lounge furniture, coffee tables, and ottomans are a popular wedding trend that can be set up for cocktail hour or the reception. The lounge areas that you create specifically for your big day now becomes the center of focus. Not only will your guests feel relaxed but people will be able to take in the beautiful atmosphere you have created. Here are a few of our favorites. corey_and_steve_145-genevieve-lauren-photography-bloggold-grid-studios-kesh-designs-blogchez-pic-blogseconda108605-blogkellydave-wed-571-christy-tyler-photography-blogPhotography: 1.
