Sarah & Konrad’s Elegant Wedding

After saying their vows at Queen of All Saints Basilica in Sauganash, newlyweds Sarah and Konrad stopped at Lurie Garden and the Wrigley Building to capture some urban wedding photographs. From the Wrigley Building, they made the short trip to Chez, where they joined friends and family for their wedding reception. Rectangular dining tables were draped with crisp white linens and lined with Chez’s lucite ghost chairs for an elegant, contemporary design. The creative teams from Art of Imagination and Steve’s Flower Market added the finishing touches to the wedding decor with arrangements of white hydrangea, lilies and roses, dozens of candles, and opaque draping. Guests were treated to specialty cocktails and dinner by Jewell Events Catering before dancing the night away beneath a sea of dramatic over-sized white balloons.

5 Luxurious Wedding Lounges

Chez’s all-white interior and soaring ceilings make decor and event design possibilities truly endless. Each Chez client has the opportunity to transform the space into their wedding vision, focusing on what is important to them and what they want to impart on their wedding guests.

It has been forecasted as a trend for 2017 weddings to ditch standard furniture pieces and opt for more creative choices that keeps the flow of the wedding day going throughout the entire event. Wedding lounge areas that incorporate plush lounge furniture, coffee tables, and ottomans are a popular wedding trend that can be set up for cocktail hour or the reception. The lounge areas that you create specifically for your big day now becomes the center of focus. Not only will your guests feel relaxed but people will be able to take in the beautiful atmosphere you have created. Here are a few of our favorites. corey_and_steve_145-genevieve-lauren-photography-bloggold-grid-studios-kesh-designs-blogchez-pic-blogseconda108605-blogkellydave-wed-571-christy-tyler-photography-blogPhotography: 1. Vanessa and Hayden made their grand entrance down the glass staircase, and enjoyed their first dance together as a married couple. After enjoying dinner from Food for Thought, guests took to the dance floor to celebrate. Congratulations Vanessa and Hayden!

Sarah & Christian’s Romantic October Wedding

On October 15th, 2016 Sarah and Christian were joined by their loved ones for their ceremony and reception at Chez. Their day began at the W Hotel Lakeshore for their first look, and then headed to Lake Michigan with their wedding party and photographer, Louie A Weddings.

Every detail of the day was planned by Linsday Gaeta of Storybook Weddings. While the wedding party took photos, Phil Cooper and the team of Kehoe Designs were putting the final touches on floral arrangements and each romantic detail for the ceremony. The mood for the ceremony was set by Bill Pollack String Quartet. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Jewell Events Catering.

Once the ceremony space was flipped for the reception, guests were invited back in to take their seats. Tables were covered with sequined linen and lined with Chez’s mirage ghost chairs creating a charming atmosphere. Kehoe Designs made sure every table was impeccable with elegant floral arrangements set in various gold and glass vessels. The tables were completed with custom escort cards by Minted.

After cutting the cake, the couple and their guests danced and enjoyed music from Style Matters. Congratulations Sarah & Christian!

Steve & Cory’s Sophisticated Wedding Celebration

Steve and Cory teamed up with the talented Joshua Jones of Kehoe Designs to bring their unique wedding concept to life at Chez. The grooms wanted to create a fun, non-traditional wedding celebration and Joshua’s design did not disappoint. Sleek, all-white, lounge groupings, illuminated cocktail tables, and an over-sized feasting table created a relaxed layout that allowed guests to mix and mingle throughout the space at ease. Towering étagères decorated with dozens of candles, elaborate floral, and unique decorative elements added a touch of drama to the design. The white brick walls were washed with color, offering the perfect backdrop for the band stage at the south end of the space. Performers from The Party Faithful entertained the crowd all evening long and guests danced on illuminated dance boxes beneath low-hanging chandeliers. Now that does sound like a fun time! Guests were treated to the culinary delights and cocktail-making expertise of the team from Limelight Catering. Congratulations Steve and Cory!
